In July last year we held a Creative Writing Workshop run by John Lindley who is a poet, songwriter and creative writing tutor. He is a former Cheshire Poet Laureate and an experienced performer, he has read at Ledbury Poetry Festival and at numerous other festivals around the UK.

 

The session began with John sharing a piece of his own writing about his name.  He talked through techniques and ideas then encouraged workshop members to start their own pieces.  We share below a couple of the pieces.
